I caught the acting bug as a very young child growing up in Atlanta, GA. I used to stay up late to watch shows like Dallas and Moonlighting with my Mom and I knew that someday I was going to be on TV. A natural born performer, I attended ice skating lessons, dance lessons, voice lessons and even went to the performing arts elementary and high schools in my county.
In high school at DCPA, I excelled academically and graduated Valedictorian. From there I went on to George Washington University on an academic scholarship. At GW I majored in Archaeology and had the wonderful opportunity to work on digs in Wales and Ireland. After college, I worked a number of different jobs including environmental lobbyist, flight attendant, and ice skating coach.
While in DC, I worked on numerous commercials, industrials, and plays. You could find me generally once a month performing a Murder Mystery at various dinner locations about town (our deadly heartbreak Valentine’s show was very popular).
I also went on tour around the country in a 15-passenger van performing as the lead in “Play It Again, Sam.” It seems like there wasn’t a college campus, army base, or country club we didn’t perform in at least once.
It wasn’t long after the tour that I decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue acting full time. With the help of my Grandmother, I saved up enough money working as a flight attendant to make the move across country.
Once in LA, I began classes at Playhouse West and have had the opportunity to work on a number of short films, music videos, print ads, and television shows. I am also a committee member of the Playhouse West Film Festival and am currently working as an intern at a feature film casting office.
